Newfoundland's Icebergs: Where, When, How

Newfoundland is an amazing place for easily accessible wildlife, majestic scenery, spirited culture but especially, amazing icebergs. These ancient fossils of ice pass by NL's northeast coast before melting, but each one is beautiful and unique in its own way. I'll show you where they come from, where to find them, when is best, and ways to get up close so you can put a compressed quarter million year old ice cube in your next martini. I've been visiting NL for 10 years and these are my favourite places for ice hunting. I neglected to add a review of the website "IcebergFinder.com" . This useful project of the Newfoundland government shows a high resolution map of the entire area with iceberg sightings and links to photos and data on each one. A great way to choose where to visit or look around the area you are in. My only issue is much of the data is out of date, so the icebergs may be gone. Give it a try though!
