Dominant Chords Triads Trick - use major triads over 7th chords!

Even though the Dominant 7 chord has a minor 7th, it does have a major 3rd, which means you can play a major triad for this chord. A sweet triad pair appears when you move the triad down a whole-step. In this case, we play A major triad and G major triad - both will work fine over the A7, A9, A11 or A13 chord. Check it out! Very simple, and very powerful. You can do this on any Dominant 7 chord that doesn’t have any altered notes.
