Donald Trump's maneuver with his financial cronies to deliver a brutal blow to the market and profit from the tariffs has benefited them, explains Alberto Iturralde, Head of DAX Operations. "Trump says China is stealing from him, when it's US companies that have moved to produce more cheaply in China," and now he will backtrack, and the market will rebound with the negative sentiment of investors, taking the indices back to where they were on April 2nd, Trump's Liberation Day. "Tech companies are purging what they had to purge," stated Alberto Iturralde. Gold is the winner amidst the trade chaos, and will continue to be the winner. When China sells bonds, it turns to gold; "China turns to gold because it's the logical thing to do." What matters is gold; it doesn't matter what the dollar does against the euro, what matters is what it does against gold.
