Upon graduation, he passed the Mahjong Rengo Tour License exam, a professional competitive mahjong organization. He won the 1998 Tour in Ginza, the 1999 Tour in Nagoya, and the 2000 Tour in Ginza. In recognition of his previous achievements, in 2001 he became the youngest Mahjong Rengo certified professional. While attending university, he also worked as an assistant at a mahjong school, and at the age of 20, he qualified as a professional mahjong instructor with the Japan Health Mahjong Association. After graduating, he also worked as a professional mahjong instructor in Yokohama. In Yokohama, he transformed a school that had a daily student population of 20 into one with over 60 students in four years. The school was even broadcast on NHK's "Shuto-ken Network," and it subsequently grew into one of the largest schools in Japan with over 80 students. To this day, he makes a living mainly from teaching mahjong classes. He also writes, creates problems, guest stars in tournaments, and has written numerous articles about winning games. ----...
