Hello friends, In this video, I show you the ascent of the Hochstaufen via the Goldtropfsteig. This trail is, so to speak, the direct route through the south face of the Hochstaufen. The terrain is partially pathless, and scrambling is required in some places. This trail has little in common with a normal hike. Experienced mountaineers are required here. You should be free from vertigo, surefooted, and experienced in finding your way. The mountain rescue service regularly has to rescue people from this trail who have lost their way and are stuck in the steep terrain. I hope you enjoy this video! Regards, Harry
