Miju Mishmi- The Long House Dwellers
The Mishmis constitute an ethnic community who are believed to have migrated from Tibet and Burma and inhabit the upper and lower Dibang Valley, Lohit and Anjaw districts of Arunachal Pradesh. They are divided into three main sub-tribes of Idu Mishmi, Miju Mishmi, and Digaru Mishmi who have distinctive cultural practices and beliefs.
