I don't post my relationships on social media...here's why. Unpopular opinion: it usually does more harm than good to post your partner/relationship details on social media. A private life is a happy life in more ways than one and keeping your relationship private can have amazing benefits. I often hear that not posting your partner is a red flag because they're likely cheating or want to keep their options open. My POV: the need to post your partner/be posted by your partner on social media is linked to insecurity, ownership, and needing external validation. Another unpopular opinion: if a person wants to cheat, they will find a way to cheat - regardless of how often their relationship is on display on social media. Let's discuss.
