In the summer, the Lena River is the only land transport artery in Yakutia, on which the survival of people, the connection of distant corners with the "mainland" literally depends. The unique climatic conditions of Yakutia make their own adjustments to all spheres of life of the Yakuts, and they also do not bypass the fleet. The summer in Yakutia is short, which means that the navigation season also passes in a short time, it is necessary to have time as much as possible. Therefore, ship repair work takes place in the winter, so that the fleet is in full combat readiness by the beginning of navigation. This is where the time comes for tough people who take a chainsaw, a pick, a shovel in their hands, and begin this difficult work, freezing out ships. What I saw in the Zhatai backwater amazed me a few years ago, when I accidentally came across a video about freezers, and who would have thought then that I would soon see all this with my own eyes. And what is more valuable, I will be able to share with you what I saw and heard. --- Like many in this life, I tried for a long time to find my place in it.
