Five Daughters Offering Felicitation五女拜寿--Chinese opera with English subtitle

Traditional Chinese opera--Yueju. Language: Wu dialect, Shanghai dialect is one kind of Wu dialect. The story takes place in the Ming Dynasty, which revolves around the family of an official who is going to retire. His daughters scramble to invite him to retire to their home in order to inherit his money...... I translated the first part of the opera with my poor English. The whole opera has a total of 6 parts. I will continue to translate if you guys like it. All the actress are young girls even the master. They sing in different styles and represent 12 major factions in Yueju. You can see every actress sings in this part except the eldest daughter. That is because the role is designed to have a tragedy life and actress(the faction) is famous for the sorrowful song. Her singing style is not fit this happy scene.
