David Wright meets the media prior to his No. 5 being retired by the Mets

For former Mets Captain David Wright says being back in New York for his jersey retirement ceremonies and seeing all the No. 5 jerseys throughout the city is very humbling. Catching up with former teammates, and reminiscing about the good old days has also been an "amazing experience." He thanked Mets owner Steve Cohen and his wife Alex for going "above and beyond" to accommodate his family attending the festivities. Wright looked also looked back with fondness at his relationship with Jose Reyes and the team's postseason runs in 2006 and 2015.
