Sailing Crete ⛵ Reflections from Greece to Amsterdam
I’ve been in Greece for a week, and today I had the chance to spend a day sailing off the coast of Crete. Being out on the water reminded me how much Amsterdam, too, was shaped by the sea — a city built by newcomers and merchants who sailed in from far beyond its shores. Greece and the Netherlands may seem far apart, but both share a deep history of trade, travel, and stories carried across the waves. A heartfelt thank you to the crew and team at DanEri Yachts for such a memorable day on the water.
