We join the masses who 'love' Barcelona's unique-in-the-world Human Statues. The 'statues' are easily found on the world famous RAMBLA, a 1.5 mile pedestrian mall that stretches from Placa Catalunya to the marina's Christopher Columbus monument. Most 'statue' street artists are very skilled in make-up and costume design. Note the animated versus the 'still and silent' statues. Some pander more than others offering a photo 'embrace' in exchange for a donation. From day to day, sometimes from hour to hour, new statues suddenly appear making one's daily stroll all the more exciting and entertaining.
