Asma Çoğaltmanın En Etkili Yolu! 2 Yıllık Dalın Gücünü Kullandım
In this video, I've explained in detail, with practical demonstrations, one of the most effective and successful methods in grape cultivation: propagation using vine cuttings. If you want to produce your own grapevines, working with the right techniques can both reduce costs and yield much stronger and healthier vines. In the video, I specifically provided clear answers to the following questions: When should vine cuttings be taken? Which buds should be preferred and why? What should the length and thickness of the cutting be? What should be considered during planting? But the most critical and differentiating point of this video is: 👉 The heel cutting method (using a 2-year-old branch) In this method, a small 2-year-old branch piece (heel) is left at the bottom of the cutting. This detail is often overlooked, but it's a technique used especially by professionals. So why is it so important? Because this mature tissue: 🌱 Contains more stored nutrients 🌱 Accelerates rooting 🌱 Significantly increases the success rate of the cutting 🌱 Provides a stronger and healthier start Therefore, the difference in success between a straight cutting and a heel cutting can be significant. In the video, I also showed step-by-step critical details such as: 💧 How to water correctly during the rooting process 🌿 Which soil mixture gives better results ☀️ What should the light and environmental conditions be like ✂️ Important points to consider when cutting cuttings Remember, with the right technique: 👉 You can produce dozens of new vines from a single vine 👉 You can establish your own vineyard at a very low cost 👉 You can obtain more productive and healthier plants This method is a great opportunity, especially for: 🍇 Those who want to establish a vineyard 🌱 Those who want to produce their own seedlings 💰 Producers who want to reduce seedling costs In this series, I will continue to share the development of cuttings, the rooting process, and field results in the following videos. 👉 Have you ever tried growing grapevines from cuttings before? 👉 Did you know about the heel cutting method? Also, while a normal cutting (branch piece) is only cut from that year's shoot; a heel cutting is prepared by breaking or cutting a small piece (heel) from the old branch at the point where the new shoot connects to the main trunk or the previous year's branch. The main scientific reasons for preferring this method are: High Carbohydrate (Storage Substance) Accumulation: The "heel" part where the new shoot joins the old branch is very rich in starch and sugars, which are the plant's energy reserves. This energy allows the cutting, which does not yet have leaves, to quickly develop roots. Meristematic Tissue Density: Cell division ability (meristematic activity) is higher at these junction points. This allows root primordium to form more easily. Natural Hormone Accumulation: Plant hormones (especially the auxin hormone that promotes rooting) are generally more concentrated at these nodes. Application Tip When making heel cuttings, make sure the piece taken from the old branch is not too large. Usually, leaving a 1-2 cm "base" (heel) from the old branch is sufficient. This piece also helps the cutting absorb soil moisture from a larger surface area. For someone like you who is professionally involved in agriculture and seeks scientific data, the success rate of this method is much higher than standard cuttings, especially in vine varieties that are difficult to root.
