What Does Accounting and Auditing (Public Accounting) Mean? | CAREER

HI y'all! I have a bunch of career related videos coming up and I've gotten some feedback from y'all about "what is accounting" and "what is auditing" and just plain "I don't understand what you're talking about" LOL... totally my bad! I'm just going to hit some very general points about accounting and auditing/ public accounting that hopefully will make future videos make sense. Please keep in mind that this video is very general, I only talk about terms that I'll be using in upcoming videos so I skip some pretty basic accounting concepts. I'm not a teacher but I'm working on being able to mentor and communicate more clearly so bear with me! I really enjoy sharing my professional life and knowledge with y'all. I hope this video clears up at least what accounting in general means and what you do as an external auditor in public accounting.
