Lolo Heimuli honoured to celebrate with the who's who of the fight world at Black Tie event.

Lolo Heimuli is dubbed the Trainer of Champions for a very good reason. Over the years Lolo has produced more champions than any other NZ fight trainer. Many of his champion fighters have not only been successful as fighters, but have gone on to been world class coaches themselves. This is testament to the thorough grounding he passes on to his students. One of his sons, Lolo jr, is establishing himself as another one of Lolo's students who will have a successful career in the fight game, by winning not only the National Championship title, but also the prize for the most scientific boxer at the tournament. I joined them both at the Balmoral Lee Gar gym to see for myself, how the next group of NZ champions are made.
