Symphony No. 2 in B minor, Op. 8 "Tragic"

Back in January of 2025, I was invited to attend an estate sale. One of the items that I purchased was a tie clip with music notes (B, G, [rest], and D). Those notes open this entire piece and unleashes the amount of sadness that this symphony has to offer. Another thing that the listener should focus on is the number "5" appearing throughout this piece. In numerology (to put it simply), “Five” symbolizes freedom, curiosity, change, a desire for adventure, and is associated with Mercury (communication). Each movement tries to find these elements: Now that you are aware of this concept, the question remains: Did I achieve what I was going for? Or, does this piece end in... tragedy? 00:00 Mvt.
