Toshio Hosokawa - Komori-uta
A traditional Japanese lullaby arranged for guitar by one of my favourite living composers, Toshio Hosokawa. Although this is a different and more traditional work than his original compositions, his style is nonetheless evident: meditative, meticulous, resonant. Hosokawa has described his music as a 'calligraphy of space and time, taking the form of sounds.' Like Takemitsu before him, he has written a number of works for/with guitar. *** Personal website: https://stevenwatsonmusic.com/ Website dedicated to playing classical guitar without nails: https://nonailguitar.com/ Facebook: / stevenwatsonmusic Instagram: / stevenwatsonmusic Email: [email protected] If you're interested in Zoom lessons, please contact me via the websites or email above. *** If you like what I do and want to give a donation to support my work, you can do so here: https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted...
