Voddie Tharon Baucham Jr. was born March 11, 1969, in Los Angeles. He became a Christian during college and devoted his life to expository preaching and Christian education. He was a dovoted and faithful husband to Bridget, father of 9 (Jasmine, Voddie III ("Trey"), Elijah, Asher, Judah, Micah, Safya, Amos, and Simeon). He was a very well-known and impactful Reformed Baptist pastor, bestselling author, cofounder of Wrath and Grace ministries, and founding president of Founders Seminary.
