Schneider Weisse Aventinus (Weizenbock) | Schneider Weisse G. Schneider & Sohn | Beer Review | #732

Today, I'm going to be reviewing a beer from Schneider Weisse G. Schneider & Sohn, and it's their Schneider Weisse Aventinus, which is a German Weizenbock. Full disclosure, I've had this one numerous times before, but I've never had it in a can, so I had to grab one and see how it is. Let's see if it's still as good as I remember it! Commercial Description: Dark ruby, glistening mysteriously, streaked with fine, top-fermented yeast, this beer has a compact, stable and long-lasting head. It has an intensive, typically top-fermented clove-like aroma. The palate experiences a gentle touch, on the tongue it is very full-bodied, compact and yet fresh with a hint of caramel. It finishes with a light and delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a strong, smoothly rounded, sour impression. Pertinent Information: Brewery - Schneider Weisse G.
