OVRP Shifter Kart Race #1 (6/15)

Ride along with me around Oakland Valley Race Park while I try to navigate through the field in Race 1 of 2 on Saturday. Both races were 15 mins + 2 laps, which were BRUTAL. I unfortunately didn't have the pace on these older tires in Race 1 which shows. I ended up finishing P5 in this race after starting 8th, but the GoPro was malfunctioning all weekend and this is all the footage I got. Race 2 was another story when I was fighting for the lead, but unfortunately suffered a mechanical failure causing me to DNF. Unfortunate that once we found pace we had a bit of bad luck, but that's racing! Thanks to Carblos Racing Engines, Maranello Kart USA, Vermont Kart Company, and Brad Danoff for providing a great experience this weekend.
