First Time Cold Calling – Booked ONE Meeting with A Gym Owner (SMMA)

I arrange a meeting on one of my last calls which proves that you need to persist with the calls. This is the first time I have sat down and cold called for a consecutive period of time. Previously, I have done the odd few calls in a row and then stopped, I have recorded these so I will upload in due course. But, I thought that this session would be most beneficial to watch. In this video: I book 1 meeting, speak to 4 owners, speak to a ton of gatekeepers and have a few non-pickups. THREE things I have learned from cold calling so far: 1 This is a numbers game. 2 It is extremely nerve racking at first but you get used to it the more you try / practice. This is demonstrated in my calls as the video goes on. 3 There will be a lot of “the owner isn’t in at the moment”, so expect it. I need to work on the tone of my voice in calls as I sound too soft and I don’t think I am assertive enough– possibly due to lack of belief at the moment.
