Take a walk through Chinatown in Downtown Honolulu as we go on the yearly hunt for fresh Big Island Hilo lychee 🍒 We start by parking at Harbor Village Municipal Parking near N Nimitz Hwy & River Street, then head into Chinatown to visit Cheryl’s favorite spot, Sun Chong Grocery. After picking up some delicious lychee, we continue exploring the area and look for lunch. We end up at Maunakea Marketplace and grab food at Vietnam Pho and Sandwiches 🍜 We also try to find apple bananas, but no luck this time—only similar varieties.
