In 2006, we gathered to form a Taiwan Taiko performance team [Drum Soul]. We keep practicing and studying Taiko and live seriously in our Taiko life. In addition to the advancement, innovation and breakthrough of Taiko performance, everything we have achieved is due to Taiko. The belief of Taiko supports people who are deeply in love of Taiko, people like us. We cherish the mutual friendship that Taiko gives us, and we have come all the way to where we are now - DRUM SOUL - TAIKO & PERCUSSION THEATRE. Besides playing Taiko, we want to turn all shapes, sounds, smells, temperatures, and imaginations into rhythms, words, and notes, and open up the space of imagination. We don’t only do the Taiko performance, but we also use Taiko and percussion to tell stories and to build a story theater that belongs to Taiko and percussion. In 2016, we had a brand-new start.
