Johnston Canyon to Lake Louise | Bow Valley Parkway | AB-1A (July 2, 2022)

There are two routes that take you from Johnston Canyon to the Village of Lake Louise. The fast one along Highway 1 (TCH), and the slower and more relaxing one along Highway 1A (a.k.a. Bow Valley Parkway). In this tenth video of the series, we'll follow the latter. It parallels the faster route, but its speed limit of 60km/h gives you a better opportunity to admire the views. This also makes it very popular with cyclists (indeed, the Bow Valley Parkway is on my cycling bucket list). We do not go to the lake itself during this trip, as there are other, less busy, and equally spectacular lakes awaiting for us in our future videos.
