Quick note: If you've talked to me about Stereolab in real life, you've heard me go on about how highly I consider this era of Stereolab. I love the effort in those recordings and I love they effort they put in to the Margerine Eclipse tour arrangements and instrumentalization. This lineup was incredible live. I recall watching Joe Walters juggling three different instruments in one song and being impressed - and the French horn parts were so moving. I wish I would have caught more than just one show (First Ave) that tour because that show just may top my short list of best concerts ever attended. I didn't do any altering to the music as I received it, but I did lessen the impact of the clippingly-loud loud clapper where I thought it necessary. It took some time but it was worth it and you won't need to smash your volume knob between songs.
