My grandmother kicked my mom out, and my dad moved away. My mom raised me alone until Noah, her friend's younger brother, came to live with us and took care of me. When my mom became dangerous due to substance abuse, Noah protected me. After my mom was jailed, my grandparents took me in, and Noah had to leave, which made us both sad. At 15, I dated Jake, but Noah, always protective, fought with him and made me go home. Noah later confessed he loved me. My estranged dad reappeared, wanting to be part of my life, but he disapproved of my relationship with Noah and has tried to keep us apart.
