A preliminary hearing is detailing the court case surrounding the death of Charlie Kirk, who was killed at Utah Valley University. Witness Denae Branch joined FOX 10 Talks to discuss the moments leading up to the gunfire. Branch described the initial atmosphere on campus before the shooting took place. Branch said at first, there was a lot of excitement and happy energy from the crowd. The situation changed rapidly when shots were fired at the university. Reflecting on the final moments of that day, Branch explained it as "the worst day" of her life.
