After graduating from the local Matsusaka Technical High School, he started training as a carpenter at Ishida Construction at the recommendation of his father, and at the age of 28, he became the first master carpenter to raise the roof and become the 7th master carpenter of Kitayama Construction. After that, at the age of 34, he changed direction from the family business to a company and founded Kitayama Construction Co., Ltd. on May 21, 2001.
