A Michael Jackson fan for approximately 40 years, I spent 365 days a year in newspapers and magazines during the 80s and 90s searching for the words "Michael Jackson," visiting used bookstores, record stores, and CD shops daily to gather information. I attended three concerts, and in the 90s, I worked as an MJ impersonator. I then formed Mutsun Serve, Japan's first animation dance-focused team, winning numerous awards and media coverage. I was the first Japanese dancer to be offered a position with Madonna without an audition, traveling the world as a choreographer and dancer, and interacting with MJ's backup dancers and staff.
