Can This $300 Maverick Survive the Route 66 Cruise?

We bought this 1970 Ford Maverick at auction for just $300—and now decided that we'd get it ready for the Route 66 Capital Cruise in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Problem is that only leaves us with about a month to make it roadworthy. Getting this old Ford running was only the beginning. Before the Maverick can take part in the cruise, we have a long list of problems: we tackle brake system repairs, a carburetor rebuild, a misfire, an exhaust leak, rusty floors, ignition problems, and more. With the deadline getting closer, we work to make the Maverick safe enough to drive and take it out for a real test drive. Can this $300 Maverick survive the Route 66 Cruise and make it all the way through the 5-mile parade? Thanks for watching God Gets the Glory Garage, where we rescue forgotten vehicles, spend time together as a family, and try to point people to the One who rescues us.
