Getting the Carter WO Carburetor on the Willy L134 Jeep Engine Running (and checking the float)

#cj2a #willysjeep #jeepbuild #jeepwillys #flatfender In this episode, we work on the Carter WO carburetor once again. Specifically, in this episode we replace the inlet valve spring, check the float, and putting it all on to test it. Quite frankly, carburetors scare me a bit because they are known for being so finicky and hard to adjust correctly and have lots of little parts which has already been my experience with this thing. But sometimes you just got to jump in with both feet and make the best of it. When you make mistakes, you try to learn from them and not make the same mistake again. Hopefully, this video will help the community not make the same mistakes I made. Once you get the one barrel carb tuned right, the Willys Go Devil / Kaiser Supersonic 4 cylinder L134 engines for your Jeep will really purr. These were used in the MB, GPW, CJ-2a, and CJ-3a Jeeps. The part number for the carburetor is A1223. Join me in the adventure. Here is a link to Mike's Carburetor parts. It is an affiliate link. https://www.carburetor-parts.com/?Aff... I bought the parts for this video from https://www.quadrajetparts.com This is part of the series to turn a pile of old vintage flat fender jeep parts into a running 4x4 off road Jeep for playing. These are great four wheel drive trucks but they take some work to keep going or get going.
