The Shortest Qatar Airways Flight : 30 Minutes! | Qatar Airways Economy Class | Trip Report

Welcome on board the Qatar Airways A320 on the shortest flight in their network from Bahrain to Doha. I took this flight merely as a joke, I could just have flown directly to Dubai but as I was requested for the shortest flights in the Middle East, I thought why not? This would be the second shortest flight. The first is the Gulf Air flight from Bahrain to Dammam, which is a few minutes shorter. Our flight is just over 120km long and lasts anywhere between 20 to 35 minutes, depending on the runway and traffic conditions on the day. If both Southern facing runways are used, you’re in for a treat and the flight lasts just over 20 minutes! You’ll actually spend more time at the airport and on ground while boarding than in the air..! The QR A320 is the Aquiles heel in the fleet, as by 2025 standards it is outdated and not consistent with the rest of the fleet. Is one of the major reasons why I took my business elsewhere. But on a short hop like this it doesn’t really matter. We’re here for the fun! Enjoy!
