E Ink Tap Handle Build (Plus Tap Handle Giveaway Draw!)

G’day legends! In today’s video I’m building a 2.7-inch NFC Waveshare e-ink display tap handle — a futuristic, battery-free, sunlight-readable tap badge you literally can’t buy anywhere else. And at the end of the video… we draw the 1,000 subscriber giveaway winner! 🍻 This build uses the 2.7" NFC Waveshare e-paper module and a custom-designed 3D-printed body I created in Fusion 360. It’s tough, it’s clean, it runs on zero power once updated, and it looks absolutely mint on the kegerator. I’ll take you through: Designing the tap handle in Fusion 360 Why e-ink is perfect for tap badges The best (and worst!) PETG filament for the print Stainless hardware, helicoil inserts, and long-term durability Cost breakdown (yes… my wife still thinks I’ve lost the plot 😂) And of course — the 1K subscriber prize draw! If you want the STL files, reach out to me directly (email below) and I’ll send you the link. his one’s a Doghouse Crew exclusive for now. 👊 Thanks for being here — every comment, like, share and sub has helped this little brewing channel grow way more than I ever expected.
