Thanks to the warm support and donations from people across the globe, we successfully held seven sessions.Looking back, this was a pivotal moment in my life—a time when I truly resolved to dissolve all barriers through song, to connect deeply with hearts worldwide, and to bring people together.This digital album captures that special period, bringing together two memorable live sessions performed alongside guitarist Yukihiro Atsumi into a single, beautiful collection. 2020年、パンデミックの最中に「もう一度世界と繋がりたい」という強い想いから始めた配信ライブシリーズ『Through the Window』。世界中の皆さんの温かいサポートとドネーションによって、全7回を開催することができました。今振り返れば、それは私自身が「歌を通じてすべての境界線を取り払い、世界の人々の心と繋がり、そして繋げていくのだ」と深く決意した、かけがえのない時間でした。本作は、あの特別なライブの中から、ギタリスト・渥美幸裕さんと共演した2回分のステージを1枚に凝縮したデジタルアルバムです。 "Asakusa Kiri Uta" From "Through the Window vol.2 Before the Tanabata" broadcast on July 5th, 2020. This traditional folk song from Kamitsue, Hita City, Oita Prefecture, is presented as a universal love song by Mio Matsuda. Following a request from Oita Prefecture after her Creole Nippon project, she listened to traditional songs from all over the region and selected this piece. After learning it directly from a local female singer, she has been performing it around the world to share its message of universal love.
