The Mulebox – A DIY Reactive Load Box with IR Cabinet Simulation

The Mulebox is a reactive load attenuator that lets you run a guitar tube amp "silently". You can load Impulse Response files to emulate any type of speaker cabinet and plug it into a mixer or another audio device. Both hardware and software are open source, so you can make your own for the cost of the hardware components. See https://github.com/optilude/MuleBox for extensive build instructions. The attenuator part of the Mulebox is based on the JohnH design found here: https://marshallforum.com/threads/sim... The DSP part uses the Cleveland Music Co Hothouse platform: https://github.com/clevelandmusicco/o... The reverb was taken from the Flick pedal by Boyd Timothy: https://github.com/joulupukki/Flick
