The ULTIMATE DIY Pull Up Bar Station (Build Video)
Here is a BUILD MONTAGE of my recent pull-up bar/gymnastics rings project! This video is not a DIY tutorial, but, hopefully, it inspires some people to indulge in home projects of this nature. I built this while renovating and had very limited access to tooling, so it gives a good indication of what can be made with not much more than a cordless drill and spanners. Obviously, the top section of the frame required welding, but you could just as easily build a straight frame and not need a grinder or welder! As for material etc, I just used square tube steel and bought it cut to size, the dual-bar itself I picked up for next to nothing second-hand, and the rest of the components were either lying around or from the local hardware store...
