2000 Rolls-Royce Corniche, One Owner, 38k Miles, Dealer Serviced, Gorgeous!
This is a gorgeous example of the iconic and hand-built 2000 Rolls-Royce Corniche that has been cared for by one registered owner from new. With 38,430 miles covered from new and always dealer maintained, this looks and drives similar to a new car. The Magnolia exterior is classic for the open Rolls-Royce models starting with the original Corniche series. This is one of 250 produced in 2000 for the worldwide market, so you will likely never see another example similar to this. This Corniche was bought new from Manhattan Motorcars on November 10, 2000. Since then, it was sent to and from the owners homes in Florida and New York and then ultimately spent two years in California. Service was performed regularly by Bentley Long Island, Manhattan Motorcars and British Motor Car Distributors (San Francisco). The base price for the Corniche in 2000 was $360,000. These have the distinction of being the last Rolls-Royce series to be built in Crewe. The elegant Magnolia livery (Paint Code 9561006) is all factory original and pristine. This appears to be all original paintwork and looks as though it was in the showroom as a new car today. The convertible top is Beige and is also in excellent condition today, with the rear window very clear and without fading. The classic Rolls-Royce wheels and thinly whitewalled tires looks perfect on this motorcar. The chrome and stainless are in excellent condition with nominal light scratching from time and use. The interior is replete with two toned wood veneers and numerous hides of soft leather. As with the rest of the Corniche, the elegant interior is nearly perfect given its 21 years and 38,000 miles. The Autumn leather hides are soft and supple and are contrasted with Magnolia piping. The Autumn carpeting is nearly as new looking as well. The interior shows almost perfectly showroom new, with only very minor age creases and one very small crack in the veneer of the beautiful wood. The drivers door cap railing has one small chip from the seatbelt, which is common for all the Corniches with shoulder restraints. The headliner is excellent as well. The venerable 6.75 liter V8 is turbocharged delivering 325 hp and a whopping 544 ft. lbs. of torque. This is sufficient to propel its 6,836 pounds of luxury to 60 mph in 8 seconds and a top speed of 135 mph. The engine compartment is in concours condition today, another sign of its dealer servicing. This Corniche comes complete with two complete sets of keys, two umbrellas mounted in the trunk, the radio face holder, the owners manual and the complete set of service manuals. Also included are all of the tools, gloves, Rolls-Royce battery tender and service equipment. As with all of the Arnage and Corniches of this series, the convertible top mechanisms were engineered by Mercedes-Benz and should be used only occasionally. The Corniche drives markedly different from the Bentley Azure. The seating is softer, its quieter and the shifting and ride are noticeably smoother. It is more luxury oriented motorcar versus sports touring. For more information and details, please call or text Classic Promenade at +1.623.404.9042 or email us at [email protected]. This Corniche is in our Phoenix showroom.
