Pants Fitting - Low Front Crotch Disaster to Perfect Fit in Two Steps

Today on Fit Tip Tuesday I'm taking a deeper dive into fitting a pants muslin when the front crotch too low to adjust without also adjusting the back crotch. This can happen when the shape of the crotch on the pants pattern is not agreement with the shape of your body. Let me start by saying that it is the pattern's job to fit you not the other way around. Today I'm going to share how to try to get the front crotch closer to where it should be in your fit muslin. If picking up the the fabric to get the front crotch in the right spot messes up the drape of the back leg, see how to split the total amount that the front crotch needs to be raised by lowering the back crotch curve half the amount.
