EP TRACKLIST: 0:00 - PEDESTRIAN 15:22 - AI YUE NO KETSUDAN/A DECISION OF LOVE 19:18 - CONSERVATORY - MOVEMENT II (CONSERVATORY (SHORT) is now CONSERVATORY - MOVEMENT I) I've always been a bystander in my own life. For most of my early days, I was whisked around to different places by different people. A bystander... in the sense that I just watched things happen to me, and others. In other ways, I was a PEDESTRIAN. I regularly crossed roads and bridges in the form of relationships, friendships, even just the decision to wake up and enjoy the day. 'IF YOU'RE GOING, I'LL GO TOO.' Not that it was bad, on the contrary, most of it was good, great, even pivotal to the person who writes this today. I thank all the people who whisked me along with them so that they could infuse all their influences in me... the good ones at least. That's just how it was for a while. Even now, i still see remnants of that life. However... there comes a point where you need to untether yourself from others. A DECISION OF LOVE. Find your own path. Get a job. Get into a CONSERVATORY. We don't even need to look that far into the future. Simply choosing not to go somewhere? That's already loosening the rope. Your friends most likely will not have the same views as you. Rarely do they end up in the same path as you. There's no such thing as being friends forever, and that's fine. I'm not really a bystander anymore. This EP is what that felt like... and what it feels like now... good and bad. I want to accept it all. Sometimes it's painful. But that's just life, you know? ======================================== Liz and the Blue Bird heavily inspired this project. Beyond just the name, the branding and the album names. It penetrates deep into the musical compositions that inhabit this page. Someday I'm going to have to let go, let my wings spread. Expand into other worlds (not literally; I don't think I'll directly reference any other franchise than Hibike! Euphonium). But right now, I'm not ready. And that's fine. Because at the end of the day, I've already accepted something, even if it hasn't happened yet. I'm sure it will happen. But I'm happy with my music now, and that's what matters. credits
