Kusak Fort was built in the 11th century by Raja Jodh, the son of Raja Mall Khan Janjua, founder of Malot Fort. It sits on 13 acres near Jodh Mountain, named after the Jodh dynasty, and was made with red stones and local soil. A palace for the king and about seventy houses for his small army were built nearby.
