I came across this unreleased track by femtanyl a while ago and couldn’t stop thinking about it. It’s called Locked Up For Every Good Reason and even though it was never officially released, there’s something hauntingly honest about it. It feels like a quiet confession. A song about guilt, emotional isolation, and trying to make peace with decisions that don’t have easy explanations. Not dramatic, not loud, just raw and real. I slowed it down, added some subtle echo, and let the ending breathe a little longer. Didn’t want to change the vibe, just wanted it to hit a little deeper. Reason it never will be released is because it sounds far too similar to its sample.
