Singer Sonu Nigam on why he chose to act in 'Kash Aap Humare Hote'

Famous singer Sonu Nigam who is also an actor speaks about his film 'Kash Aap Humare Hote'. He says," 'Kash Aap Humare Hote' is my first solo debut film. It was supposed to be debut in the last year but my film 'Jaani Dushman' released first which made by debut unpleasant a little bit. Now that's okay. If the film is good it will become hit if it's not good of course the public will not like it. 'Kash Aap Humare Hote' is my first effort in which I have showcased my talents wholly in the film. I have studied and worked as an actor. I have said it then and will say it now. This film will showcase and people can see Sonu Nigam as an actor. The best part in 'Kash Aap Humare Hote' the best part is this film was to be made for Smita Patil and Raj Babbar. But due to the death of Smita Patil, the film was not made. Raj Babbar decided to launch the film for his daughter and then was the time when he thought of me. when he came to me and narrated the story I thought it was a very emotional film. It's a very realistic movie. And as an actor, I get to do a lot in this film. I got this reason to accept the film. Previously I left many films and after this movies, I rejected many movies. I did not get a strong picture like this except 'Love in a Nepal' which was my next film. I am doing that movie as that's a different character otherwise I would not have done that movie. I am not doing any other movie.'" Sonu Nigam is an Indian Playback singer, live performer, host, and actor. He sings in Hindi and Kannada language films. He has also sung in English, Bengali, Manipuri, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Tulu, Assamese, Odia, Nepali, Maithili and various Indian languages. Nigam has also released Indian pop albums and acted in a number of films.[3] He has been one of the highest paid Indian singers. Often regarded as the "Modern Rafi", now considered as one of the most versatile singers of the Hindi film industry. Nigam's acting career] started as a child in films including Betaab (1983).
