LIGHTENED THE HEAVY CATEGORY The iTALMEK iC92 steel scrap shear is the realization of a new concept, taking advantage of lightness even in the 10 ton category. Thanks to the application of a series of advanced technical solutions, it was possible to reduce the weight by 7-8% while keeping the mouth dimensions and cutting capacity unchanged. This allows mounting in the boom position on excavators starting from 48/49 tons of weight with enormous advantages in terms of energy savings and operating costs. In this video, you will also notice the excellent working speed of the IC92 obtained thanks to a new speed valve designed ad hoc. Note that the scrapshear is cutting special, forged or heat treated steels. These are not materials that can normally be processed with a hydraulic shear, but tests on the cutting capacity were carried out here.
