Celebrating his recent victory over the evil Doctor Robotnik by going on a run across South Island, Sonic comes across Never Lake and the rare appearance of the Little Planet. Surprisingly, the planet has been chained down to a nearby mountain and Sonic quickly realizes Robotnik is still up to his usual tricks. This time, he is after the legendary Time Stones that are said to be found on the Little Planet. Sonic wastes no time jumping into action to prevent his eternal enemy from obtaining the Time Stones and conquering the world! Making his way through the Palmtree Panic Zone, Sonic literally runs into Amy Rose, his self-proclaimed girlfriend. Though she is determined to tag along on the adventure, she is quickly kidnapped by the single greatest invention of Dr. Robotnik, the Metal Sonic! Can our hero rescue Amy and stop Robotnik?
