Born in Bahia and artistically raised in Rio de Janeiro, Ellen began her career as a child, participating in a talent show on Rádio Nacional. From there began the trajectory of an artist who would become a reference in Brazilian romantic music. In the 1950s, her striking voice captivated audiences throughout the country with her interpretations of boleros, samba-canções, and ballads. This success led the singer to international performances, including seasons at the traditional Casino Estoril, as well as participation in festivals, theatrical plays, and audiovisual productions.
