11-2-24 Federal Signal Modulator 1004 Siren 1 Minute Attack Test, Brentwood, TN

After getting the Nashville test, I made my way back down to this siren in Brentwood, TN, I'd been meaning to visit for quite some time, as I always do quite like the color blue, especially on sirens. Anyways, I got set-up and, about 15 minutes prior to the test, it wound-up announcing that the test would be occurring at 1 PM, which, admittedly, I wasn't entirely expecting (so I didn't get that recorded). Then, right at 1 PM, this siren wound-up and did 1 minute of attack as well! Definitely nice to finally get a Modulator recorded, and this was my first time hearing an electronic Federal Signal siren of any variety as well, admittedly. Huntsville used to have two of these 1004s (both originally at Big Spring Park, though one was later moved to Ditto Landing), but they were both replaced with Model 2s after they both got struck by lightning. Looking at the Tennessee map, there's quite a few of these 1004s across the state, which is a bit interesting to think about, given how uncommon small Modulators like this are usually. After the test, I'm not sure if you're hearing an echo from this siren or a nearby Modulator 4016 on the other side of I-65 finishing-up its test. I think you may also be able to hear a nearby 2001-SRN finishing-up its test too? After the test, I actually wound-up bumping into ‪@DSRX100‬ and ‪@MusicCitySirens‬ here unexpectedly, who were also here filming the test as well. They were also joined by an 8 year old enthusiast who was here from California with his parents. It was definitely nice getting to meet-up with a few other enthusiasts here. Williamson County, TN, tests on the first Saturday of every month at 1 PM, weather permitting. The Tennessee Statewide Siren Map: https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/vie...
