Weekly Slowstitch 2024 - Week 16 - Planet Earth

This week we are keeping it simple and coming back down to Earth after all the celestial excitement of the last three weeks. We are celebrating the beautiful planet we call home by representing the fact that the surface is (approximately) one third land and two thirds water using simple strip piecing and collage onto a foundation cloth embellished with running stitch.
