In this video, we'll be redesigning a 35GDN (25GD-26B) woofer for successful use in a car subwoofer. This requires increasing the voice coil's overload capacity, improving its cooling, and increasing the maximum travel of the moving elements. Each step of the modification is accompanied by a detailed analysis, and the results will be compared with the Thiele-Small parameters of the original 35GN-1-8 and 35GDN-1-4 drivers.
