Wines of the Medoc Part 2
This is a recording of the live class produced with the support of the Vins du Médoc. Please support them, follow them on social media, and visit them at www.medoc-bordeaux.com ! The first ten minutes of the class is spent giving an overview of Bordeaux and then focusing on the Médoc -- the important historical, climate, land, and geographic features. In the second half, we discuss the wines of Margaux, Moulis, Listrac, and Saint Julien. We covered the other four communes of the Médoc in Part 1 of this series. The key takeaway of this class: yes, there are expensive wines in Médoc (some of the finest and most age-worthy in the world), but if you learn how to shop for these wines, there are many more versions that are completely affordable, tasty, food-friendly, and some of the best values you can get. I hope it makes you fall in love with Médoc as I did many years ago!! I am never without a bottle from somewhere in the Médoc in my house. Enjoy and thanks again to the Vins du Médoc for allowing me to provide this class at no cost to you!!
