The CPU has improved, and the addition of a media engine and ray tracing hardware acceleration might be significant, but that's not the case. I was more excited about the Magic Keyboard, which finally added a row of function keys and a redesigned design. However, this one is also heavier than the current Pro model and the older model, likely due to the different materials. This expensive model lacks a backlight, the trackpad lacks tactile feedback, and the key feel is much closer to that of the Magic Keyboard Folio. The Pro is so ridiculously priced that it should be pushed into the mainstream. Instead of upgrading the chipset, which can't handle throttling, they're focusing on something like a 60Hz refresh rate.
